Leno Flirts With 100 Year-Old Twins: Late Last Night

Here's how boring Ben Affleck was on Leno last night: I'm going to post a video of Leno completely sucking up to 100 year-old twins instead. Because, after all, twins are twins bro! Twins! Also, I'm really glad Leno knows his demographic considering he had the elderly on his show and Carol Burnett. Good one, Jay.

Kelsey Grammer Weds Kayte Walsh

Kelsey Grammer Weds Kayte Walsh
Kelsey Grammer's bride (his fourth) wore white -- on the Great White Way!

The actor's rep tells UsMagazine.com that Grammer, 56, wed girlfriend Kayte Walsh Friday at NYC's Longacre Theater. Grammer and British flight attendant Walsh, 29, exchanged vows on the stage -- covered with white candles -- where the actor just wrapped his Tony-nominated run in the Broadway musical La Cage Aux Folles. First-time bride Walsh wore a long, satin and chiffon gown by Peter Langer for Mark Ingram, according to Access Hollywood. Who married the couple? A drag queen! The New York Post reports that actor Terry Lavell, who performed with Grammer in La Cage, has a license to officiate weddings. Among also those joining the pair on stage were Grammer's grown daughter, actress Spencer Grammer, who read a poem, Kayte's brother, who sang a song, and Grammer's 5-year-old son Jude (whose mom is Kelsey's ex-wife Camille Grammer). Kelsey and Camille's daughter Mason, 8, reportedly didn't attend the bash.

After taking their bridal vows and bows, the newly hitched couple, shielded by the day's rain with umbrellas, boarded a white Mercedes. They will greet their guests later on Friday evening at a luxe reception held at the Plaza Hotel's famed Grand Ballroom.
On the menu, obtained by TMZ: Ginger prawns, filet mignon au poivre, slow-roasted turkey breast with chorizo stuffing, and braised short-ribs.

And when it's time for dessert, the bride and groom will feast on a custom-made concoction by famed wedding cake designer Sylvia Weinstock.
"They're going to have a delicious carrot cake," Weinstock told UsMagazine.com. "It's about 55 inches tall. A grand cake, decorated with sugar flowers, in shades of white and cream."

Weinstock added that the cake is filled with cream cheese, caramel, and coconut. "It's going to be a fantastic showpiece," said Weinstock, who met with Walsh, Grammer and Walsh's mother to design the cake.
"She wants everything to be perfect and look gorgeous and wonderful," she said of Walsh. "She's thrilled...They're a great couple and I see them having a great life together."

Just two weeks ago, Grammer finalized his divorce from third wife Camille after pushing to quickly expedite the split in order to marry Kayte.

The disintegration of Kelsey and Camille's 13-year marriage played out on the first season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Camille, 42, nearly quit the Bravo show mid-season because of the marital strife, she told Us.
Indeed, on the season finale, the former Playboy model wept to a friend about discovering her husband's other woman while visiting him in NYC Malibu, Calif.

The Frasier star first filed for divorce in July -- and stepped out with Walsh, whom he met in NYC while performing La Cage, soon thereafter. (Walsh sadly suffered a miscarriage in September, a rep confirmed to Us.)
Grammer's rep confirmed their engagement to Us on Dec. 6, noting the duo had "been engaged for a while."

"I'm doing great," Grammer gushed of his newest love on Live with Regis and Kelly on Jan. 27. "This year's journey is about enhancing love in my life, and Kayte is responsible for a great deal of that."

Secret Negotiations Reveal Why Mel Gibson's Ex Turned Down $16 Million

Posted by Shazy on Friday, February 18, 2011

Oksana Grigorieva wanted $20 million from Mel Gibson in exchange for keeping her secretly recorded -- and terrifying -- audio tapes of the actor's infamous, bigoted rant private. Though her side of the story is that she wasn't asking for the money as part of a hush deal, but rather making good on what she, as mother of Gibson's child, is owed.

An article in today's Los Angeles Times exposes previously unknown communications and new details about the secret legal negotiations that led to one of the nastiest court battles in Hollywood history. Gibson and Grigorieva continue to spar over custody of their baby daughter, Lucia, and attorneys for both have been urged by a judge to avoid the media since the exes' dirty laundry -- including those terrible tapes -- leaked onto Radar Online, TMZ and other outlets on a continuous loop.

And now, the origin story:

According to the Times,, which reviewed texts, emails and documents pertaining to the case, it all began a year ago -- literally, it was in February of 2010 -- when Grigorieva sought a lawyer after Gibson told her she needed representation as he was preparing to add their baby, Lucia, to his estate plan.

Grigorieva -- a Russian singer whom Gibson began dating while still married to ex-wife Robyn -- was "not entitled to any of the actor's fortune under the terms of a 2009 cohabitation agreement that said she would get only a year's free rent in a Sherman Oaks home Gibson owned and a Dodge Charger if they split," the Times reports.

So the singer -- armed with the tapes and photos -- assembled a legal team that met with his lawyers to hash out a settlement. She initially asked for $20 million but he offered $18 million. They eventually agreed on a $16 million deal in May. The deal included joint child custody, $11 million toward Lucia, and, for Grigorieva, more than $5 million and, just to sweeten the deal, a Steinway piano from Gibson's Malibu home.

Grigorieva later reneged, claiming she was coerced into signing the agreement. The case is still at family court.

Meanwhile, amid the back-and-forth, Gibson and Grigorieva had kept in touch with a faint glimmer of reconciliation.

"You don't call. You don't accept my invitation to come. You hand tapes around & jeopardize us all," he texted Grigorieva on the day his team legal team was offering her an $18 million settlement.

Her reply: "I wouldn't have played ur messages if u were keeping ur word."

While Grigorieva was traveling in Russia last April, he emailed to tell her he had given their daughter, Lucia, a glow-in-the-dark rosary. "I have said prayers for you too," he wrote.

So, kinda like a lot of confused/confusing texts and emails exes send after breakups, only much, much more ill-advised.

As of right now, the deal remains unsettled (in more ways than one), and allegations of extortion on Grigorieva's part persist. Her lawyers insist she really just loved Gibson and that they are just doing what lawyers do: negotiate for money.

Best Movies about Musicians

Posted by Shazy

With the new Justin Bieber movie set to be released Friday to all those loyal Beliebers, let's look back on some of the best movies around about real-life musicians and the fans who love them.

Ray
This 2004 film about the life of Ray Charles got a lot of buzz for the star in the title role, better known for his comedy skills. His performance struck a chord, earning him the Academy Award for Best Actor. He later added his vocal stylings to a Kanye West hit.

The Doors
Though rumors of his being alive persist, Jim Morrison was brought to life cinematically by a well-known actor in 1991, in a film by Oliver Stone. The keyboardist for the Doors had a strong opinion about how the movie came across, but it was a cult hit.

A Hard Day's Night
Made in 1964 during the height of Beatlemania, this film starred the Fab Four and was a mockumentary of sorts. It was critically praised and led to more popular films -- with one notable exception, which was widely panned.

La Vie en Rose
In 2007, the French star who portrays Edith Piaf won both the Golden Globe and the Academy Award for Best Actress, the first time the award had been given for a French-speaking role. The film features another French star who has many awards of his own, including an Oscar nomination for this well-known role.

I'm Not There
In this film, which many consider groundbreaking, six different actors portray Bob Dylan. One of those received a Golden Globe for her performance, while for another actor, it was to be one of his last films.

La Bamba
This 1987 film about Ritchie Valens made its star a household name and told the story of his unlikely hit song and his untimely death, which became known as "the day the music died" and was referenced in another famous song.

Selena
This 1997 film was a breakthrough role for an actress little known at that time. Based on the life story of the popular Tejano music star, the film follows her rise to fame until her murder at just 23 years old.

What's Love Got to Do With It
This 1993 biopic tells the story of Tina Turner. The actress who took on the role, after the original actress cast had to take maternity leave, won a Golden Globe for her performance and was nominated for an Academy Award.

Coal Miner's Daughter
The actress who tackled the role of real-life country icon Loretta Lynn in this 1980 film also won the Academy Award for her performance. She also has a daughter who's becoming well known in the biz these days.

The Pianist
This 2002 film, based on the life of pianist Władysław Szpilman, won the actor who portrayed him an Oscar for Best Actor, at which point he famously showed affection for the award presenter. The film's director also won but was not present because of his legal troubles.

Bird
The director of this 1988 film would eventually win a Best Director Oscar for two later films, and the star who portrayed Charlie Parker would go on to earn an Academy Award of his own for a later dramatic role.

Great Balls of Fire
Jerry Lee Lewis took a lot of heat for who he chose to marry, while the actor who played him in this 1989 film was happily coupled with America's Sweetheart at the time. She's now part of a recent marriage breakup.

The Buddy Holly Story
This 1978 film starred an actor playing Buddy Holly who is better known for other things these days. All of the actors in the film played their own instruments and sang the songs. The film won an Oscar for Best Original Score.

The Temptations
A 1998 TV miniseries, this flick took a couple of liberties with the truth but won the 1998 Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Miniseries or a Movie. A lawsuit forced the removal of some scenes, but the film gives you a good look at one of the most enduring R&B groups of all time.

Walk the Line
Who doesn't like the Man in Black? Forever an outlaw and a friend to the less fortunate, he received most of his fan mail from prisoners for a time. He battled addiction and won, he was a huge influence on 20th-century American music, and the film was nominated for five Oscars.

Beyond the Sea
The director of "Rain Man" was set to do this movie, but it was not to be. Kevin Spacey took vocal lessons from a man who collaborated with the movie's protagonist. Though it lost money at the box office, it's a compelling look at a singer whose life was cut tragically short.

Amadeus
When a film wins eight Oscars, it's probably worth watching. Another tragic story of a brilliant musician who died very young, the film's director is very well regarded and there were two nominations for the Best Actor Academy Award.

Lady Sings the Blues
The actress portraying the brilliant and tragic jazz singer was nominated for an Oscar though she's famously been snubbed by the Grammys. We all know how this one ends.
