Giant Panda Who Did A Roly-Poly

Posted by Shazy on Wednesday, August 31, 2011

Giant Panda Who Did A Roly-Poly. It was a perfectly executed forward roll - even better for the fact that this panda managed it in his sleep.

The animal, called Tai Shan, was sitting in his zoo enclosure when he began to doze off, his eyes flickering open and shut before he succumbed to sleep and slumped forward.

The sleepy panda could have fallen flat on his face. But instead he popped his head between his legs and turned head-over-heels before landing on his back.

Mr Feather, as he's been cruelly dubbed, won't feel cock-a-hoop though.

That's because the poor chicken was born completely bald - and has remained so ever since.

Catch of the day: Fisherman lands eight-foot shark after it leaps into back of his boat

It's the catch of a lifetime, but it's not clear whether a U.S. fisherman landed an eight-foot shark or it landed him.

Twenty-nine-year-old Jason Kresse of Freeport, Texas, says he and two crew members were dumping fish guts in the Gulf of Mexico at about 3.45am on Monday when they heard splashes in the distance and then something hit the side of their 25-foot boot.
