All My Children ending
'All My Children' soap opera may be ending
Will ABC cancel "All My Children" after 41 years?

Many soap operas including "As the World Turns," "Guiding Light" and "Passions" have been cancelled over the years and rumors are swirling that the hit show, “All My Children” could be the next.

Reports are claiming that ABC is considering reducing its afternoon drama lineup from three to two hours to make room for a new talk show.

The show has recently received low ratings. Targeting a specific demographic geared towards women ages 18-49, “All My Children” is just a notch below from fellow ABC soap “One Life to Live” in the daytime ratings.

Cameron Mathison, Michael E. Knight and Susan Lucci star in the soap opera.

New Wonder Woman Adrianne Palicki Whips up a Frenzy in PVC Catsuit

New Wonder Woman Adrianne Palicki Whips up a Frenzy in PVC Catsuit
Here is the very first look at Adrianne Palicki suited-up as Wonder Woman, and she is certainly one sexy superhero.
With her stunning curvaceous figure poured into a skin-tight red and blue PVC suit, the 27-year-old is a sultry version of the famed comic book hero.
The brand new photo was posted on Entertainment Weekly's website today.
While the costume remains very similar to the original, it has clearly been updated.

Blue PVC pants have been substituted for the original big briefs, and the superhero's boots have been switched from red to blue.
Palicki does however hold on to the bullet-proof bracelets, the famous star bejewelled headband and golden lasso.
It was announced in February this year that lesser-known actress, 27, would step into the role that Lynda Carter made famous in the Seventies, for a new version of the show.
Palicki is better known in America for her role in the drama series Friday Night Lights, but has yet to make a household name for herself.
The new show is written by writer and producer David E. Kelley, who brought Ally McBeal, Chicago Hope and Boston Legal to our screens.
The plot is described as 'a reinvention of the iconic D.C. comic in which Wonder Woman - aka Diana Prince - is a vigilante crime fighter in L.A. but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life.
No broadcast date has yet been given.
Many Hollywood actresses had been vying for the coveted role of Woman Woman
Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks, in particular.
The 35-year-old, who is better known for her role as Joan Harris in the hit show, revealed her aspirations to play Wonder Woman during an interview with U.S. chat show host Rachel Ray.
Although the actress quashed speculation that she has been offered the role she was quick to outline that she would be eager to take it on.
She said: ‘I heard that rumour too – I don’t know where it got started but I love it!’
‘I've been wanting to wear that outfit my whole life! I'd love to [do it]. That would be such fun! Let's put it out there!’
But sadly for Hendricks, Palicki beat her to the role, and has already started  filming with co-stars such as British actress, Elizabeth Hurley who will star as Veronica Cale
Hurley recently revealed she was part of the show by posting on Twitter when she first got the role: 'Thrilled to be doing the NBC pilot Wonder Woman'.
She added that she will be playing the lead character's nemesis saying: 'I'll be playing the evil villain. Can't wait'.

Big 12 basketball tournament TV schedule

Big 12 basketball tournament TV schedule

This year's Big 12 basketball tournament will not be in Oklahoma City. It will be in Kansas City, which is sad for fans who like to go in person. Because of that, there will be plenty of people who do not make the trip, so they will be catching all the games on TV.

Today was the final day of the Big 12 regular season conference play. Bedlam was in Norman with the Sooners overcoming the Cowboys on Senior Day with a 64 to 61 win. The W broke an 8 game losing streak for OU, and perhaps it kept them out of last place in the Big 12 conference.

The 2011 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament may not end up being great for either team in Oklahoma. You never know though. Perhaps either the Cowboys or the Sooners will manage to shock the conference and do something great.

Game 1 of the Big 12 basketball tournament will be Wednesday, March 9. It is Nebraska vs. Oklahoma State. Tipoff will be at 11:30 a.m., and the game will be broadcast on the Big 12 Network. On the same day at 6 p.m. you can catch Baylor vs. Oklahoma on the Big 12 Network as well.

The entire Big 12 basketball tournament is Wednesday, March 9 through Saturday March 12, and you can catch the games on the Big 12 Network, ESPN 2 or ESPN throughout the week. If you aren't near your TV during some of the earlier game times, you can also watch the with free live stream from your computer or phone.

After the tournament, the Big Dance will be announced with Selection Sunday.

Jessica Hahn Embarrasses Barbara Walters On The View

Posted by Shazy on Wednesday, February 23, 2011

JESSICA HAHN was booked as part of 'The View's' week long 'Where Are They Now?' series, but the show's producers weren't expecting the controversy that ensued on Tuesday, reports Cbs News. Hahn rose to prominence in the some twenty years ago after having an alleged sexual encounter with the televangelist Jim Bakker. The story hit the headlines in 1987 and it was revealed that Bakker had been paying Hahn to keep the story quiet. Bakker later resigned from the PTL Club, an organisation he founded in 1975. Hahn has always maintained that the encounter was rape but on Tuesday's show host Sherri Shepherd asked her to speak about "the affair". The 51-year-old took offense and began to address co-host Barbara Walters, saying, "In your book 'Audition' you had an affair with the senator". Hahn was referring to Walter's 2008 book in which she admitted to having an affair with Senator Edward Brooke in the 1970s.
Despite the unexpected jibe, Walters quickly turned the comment back around, saying, "This is about you, my dear. This is not about me, okay? I'm very happy talk about my relationships, but this is about you".

Glee Casting Call For Sarah Palin Type Character - Tea Party and Glee?

Posted by Shazy on Saturday, February 19, 2011

The Fox TV show Glee has placed a casting call for a "Sarah Palin type character" for a role on the hit show.
Are they ready to now mock the Tea Party?
The character is named Tammy Jean, and described as a "middle-aged recent Tea Party candidate and home schooler — a Sarah Palin type."
However, show creator Ryan Murphy says he is not bringing Tammy Jean / Sarah Palin on the show to mock and make fun of, but to be inclusive.
“We’ve taken a couple jabs at the right wing this year,” Murphy told TV Guide last June.
“So what I want to do with this character is have someone who Christian kids and parents can recognize and say, ‘Oh, look — I’m represented there, too!’ If we’re trying to form a world of inclusiveness, we’ve got to include that point of view as well.”
“Pat me on the back,” Ryan Murphy says, “after two seasons, we’re not going to be bigots anymore!”

Jennifer Beals Turns Down Dancing With The Stars

Posted by Shazy

JENNIFER BEALS has turned down an opportunity to appear on DANCING WITH THE STARS.

JENNIFER BEALS, the American actress and star of the movie 'Flashdance', has turned down an offer to appear as a contestant on the next series of DANCING WITH THE STARS, according to People Magazine. Beals, who is currently starring in the Fox drama 'The Chicago Code', says she will not be following in the footsteps of recent winner JENNIFER GREY, saying, "I am not a dancer. They asked me and I said no. You could back up a truck to my door filled with cash and I wouldn't do it". The 47-year-old said she visited the DANCING WITH THE STARS' ballroom with her actress friend MARLEE MATLIN several years ago and was surprised by the intimidating atmosphere, saying, "The sound of the audience is so loud and the energy in there is so intense. I wanted to start crying just in feeling for her. I joked with Marlee and said, 'You don't know how lucky you are you can't hear this'", the actress added, "The noise level is so intense and people's excitement level is so intense. I could never. I'm not that kind of a performer".

Beals famously played 'Alexandra Owens' in the 1993 dance movie 'Flashdance', alongside MICHAEL NOURI. The film, produced by JERRY BRUCKHEIMER, grossed over $100 million at the box-office despite opening to negative reviews from critics.

Posted by Shazy on Thursday, February 17, 2011

"That '70s Show" star Laura Prepon is set to play comedian Chelsea Handler in "Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea," a comedy pilot for NBC inspired by Handler's autobiography of the same name, Deadline reports.

The pilot centers on Chelsea Hanson, a single cocktail waitress who is highly opinionated and open about her love of sex and alcohol. Yes, that sounds like Handler. The pilot is being written and executive-produced by "Dharma & Greg" co-creator Dottie Zicklin and Julie Larson, and Handler is serving as an executive producer.

Prepon recently guest-starred on several series, including "How I Met Your Mother" and "Castle." Her last starring role was on the ABC drama "October Road" after "That '70s Show" wrapped in 2006.

Lindsay Lohan to read David Letterman Top 10

Posted by Shazy

One of David Letterman’s favorite subjects of jokes in recent monologues will now get a chance to deliver a few laughs on her own: Lindsay Lohan will appear on “Late Show with David Letterman” Thursday night to present that night’s Top-10 list. The show announced Ms. Lohan’s appearance late Tuesday. She will appear on satellite and read the list, prepared by the Letterman show writers. The subject was not disclosed Tuesday.

Ms. Lohan will be making her fifth appearance as a guest on the show and her first since 2007. In the interim, she has been in the news frequently, most recently for being charged with stealing a necklace — a topic Mr. Letterman has visited frequently on recent nights with jokes.

Monday night, for example, he told one saying that in the aftermath of the upheaval in Egypt someone noticed that King Tut’s necklace was missing.
