Kate Winslet Reveals Her Killer Curves

Kate Winslet Reveals Her Killer Curves
Kate Winslet reveals her killer curves in a sheer dress... but what a shame about the powdery face

Her stunning outfit and killer curves certainly ensured she stole the spotlight from her younger co-star.

Kate Winslet walked the red carpet at the premiere of her new mini-series in New York last night in a form-fitting Stella McCartney dress with polka dot panelling.

The 35-year-old's hair was swept up in a tousled up 'do, and the only let-down was Kate's powdery complexion.

As the face of cosmetics house LancĂ´me, Kate has the resources to look flawless, but her pale make-up did nothing to flatter the actress' stunning features.

Just recently, Kate discussed the joys of a good lipstick, some advice she may have been better advised to follow.

She said: 'I do think that lipstick is the best friend of absolute femininity... and I also think there's something happening right now in the cosmetic industry, which is that we're seeing the big come-back of a great lipstick.

'L'Absolu Nu is a soft, delicious stain. It's very, very sexy ... very, very subtle.'

Winslet was joined by her co-stars, including the stunning Evan Rachel Wood, 23, who plays her on-screen daughter in the HBO mini-series Mildred Pierce.

Evan looked immaculate in a plum long sleeve jersey cocktail dress and matching peep-toe platforms both by Elie Saab.

Kate plays the title role in Mildred Pierce, a five-part mini-series adapted from James M. Cain's 1941 novel.

It is directed by Todd Haynes and also stars The Fighter actress Melissa Leo, Guy Pearce and James LeGros.

Set in the Great Depression, Winslet's character finds herself separated from her husband, opening a new restaurant and falling in love with another man.

At the same time, the new business puts a strain on her already fragile relationship with her daughter Veda.

Parts 1 and 2 of Mildred Pierce premiere on March 27 on HBO.

The bedroom was chosen by its owner in Minnesota from a selection of a space ship, racing car, castle and the pirate ship.
Mr Kuhl, who owns Kuhl Design Build, used two large planks to construct the hull of the ship before covering them with layers of plywood as the deck planking.
A mixture of plaster and epoxy resin was then used for the ship's hull.
There is also a spiral slide which is accessed through a hole at the top and comes out in a sports court on the bottom floor of the house.
No doubt the proud owner will not be short of friends.

The Snake Who Bit Off More Than He Could Chew
The Snake Who Bit Off More Than He Could Chew

It's an Amazonian tree frog that a snake waiting on a branch decided he liked the look of as he was hopping happily by.
The hapless amphibian struggled and kicked to try and break free for 45 minutes, but it was a struggle in vain as he was swallowed whole by his attacker.

Janet Jackson Started Dieting When She Was 11

Posted by Shazy on Thursday, February 17, 2011

Celebrities arrive at the Lanvin Show during the Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011
Janet Jackson has been performing since she was seven, and she admits she's been battling issues with her weight since she was "very little."

She explained: "It’s been a tough road, a tough battle since I was very little and not feeling worthy. There were self-esteem issues, issues dealing with food stemming from when I was very, very young. Not feeling I was good enough as I was.
"I was told at a very young age on the show Good Times that I needed to go on a diet. I was only, what, 11, 12? And I look back on those shows and I wasn't a heavy kid. Some people can just brush it right off but others, they really internalize it. And that was me."

The singer, whose weight has fluctuated over the years, also believes she may be addicted to food as she has always been an "emotional eater."

Janet added to CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight show: "I'm not in denial in any way. I've never had someone say to me you're addicted to food and maybe that's what it is for me. I've never had anyone say that to me, but the way that I feel about it. It still is an issue for me.

"I was an emotional eater. I still am. I've learned how to handle certain issues and not to run to that for comfort. It's just not about, 'OK, how do you stop the eating?' It's deeper than that. There are issues behind that. You have to figure out what's creating it first in order to figure out how to stop it."Read More: Zimbio
